I've never bothered. I gave up gaming before I upgraded the processor and motherboard and haven't had a need for it. Plus, I'd probably have to upgrade the power supply and add cooling. Don't feel like doing that.

I have one. It gets old after awhile. The last time I was into OC'ing it was about 3 years ago, and finally I settled on a more normal speed, that's it.

Meddling with the innards of a PC and watching benchmarking numbers roll past my eyes is no longer something I have the patience or desire for.

Mine underclocks. Seriously, if you don't restart it every 6 hours or so the clock is like 30 minutes behind. I think there is a conflict with AIM or something.

My air-cooled 2.6ghz Pentium D805 is overlocked to 3.6ghz on air and is very stable. It took maybe a day of tinkering to get the voltages right.

Very nice OC there.

I overclocked my AMD xp2500 to 400 Mhz easily on my Shuttle Nforce2 board. I really wish Shuttle would go back to making motherboards. Anyhow, it's clocked at 2.3Ghz on air, with a Zalman CNPS7000A-Cu cooler and extremely stable. I really wish I could have purchased a unlocked chip or had the foresight to get a mobile chip but ah well.

I don't play with overclocking much now. I happy with my computer speed and don't have squeeze every last bit out of the chip like I used to or play with memory timings to get more out of the chip.

Barton Mobile was an awesome value in its day. I have a Barton 2500+ Mobile currently at 2.2 ghz @ 1.55vcore with a Thermalright SI-97A. It was at 2.3ghz @ 1.65v but I backed it down a bit since I haven't gamed in a while. With a bit of overvolting I bet I could get to 2.5ghz but I haven't tried to push it that far. Barton is pretty old now but I don't really need anything better at the moment and I need my money for other stuff anyway.

My buddy helped me (basically meaning he did the whole thing) set up a computer I bought.

AMD 2800+ overclocked, but I have a really cool (no pun intended) thermaltake case.

Too bad I only use my thinkpad these days...
