big game this week...a loss by HBC would really make it tough for them to win the division since i would have the head to head and points tie breakers. a win by me would give me a nice two game cushion.

My team is not doing too bad this week, but Juan is not giving me much of a chance. Westbrooke had quite a night.

 

On a side note - I would have been so pissed off at my manager for benching Randy Johnson, if RJ had finished with a no-hitter :roll: But every year I always have one pitcher who always saves his best outings for when he is benched and then sucks when he is in the line-up. RJ is the guy this year.

Weeks out for the year. My team has been a walking DL this season. I've had as many as seven players on the DL at one time. :(

I have nearly a 20 point lead after yesterday, thanks largely to another outstanding start from Burnett (finally starting to justify my trading the #1 draft pick for him). However, I have only one start remaining (Maddux tomorrow) while my opponent has four. I need to jinx his starters and hope for another gem from the pitcher who got us the great Cesar Izturis. :D

OK... you got me with Hafner (Mauer sat the day out, Biggio too), but I thought you said you would be lucky to get 20 points from your starters????

 

I am now left in a bad situation. My two big hitters that are still playing (Gonzalez and Tracy) are going against one of my starters (Nolasco).
