Nice to see two Cubs position prospects in there. Hopefully The Don and The Sean will break some of these lists very soon.
Did you go through all 6 pages, they are on there. You can also sort by MLB teams.

Yeah so how in the world is Garza so low?

They anticipate his arm will fall off after his 127-pitch CG last night?

Man, imagine Santana, Liriano and Garza next season...

While I disagree with a lot of the rankings, I commend them for ranking 300 prospects.

I don't see B.J. Upton even mentioned; while he's had a slow year I think that's a rather large oversight.

He had enough ABs in 2004 to make that his rookie year. If Scout.com is defining a prospect as a player who would qualify as a rookie, BJ wouldn't qualify (that's why BJ hasn't been considered in BA's last two top prospect lists).

Ok, I guess I'm just not very observant. I did a quick search on Yahoo for him and they didn't come up with a player page so I figured he hadn't been up yet. I guess playing in Tampa makes him rather invisible.

The yanks have taken a step forward lately with Phil Hughes stepping up and youngun' Jose Tabata performing real well. Eric Duncan has been overrated for about 3 years and after that there is a drop off.

I've been hearing how the Yankees farm system is weak. But they have quite a few players ranked.

Tabata (age 17 at low-A!) has emerged this year after Hughes did last season (though I'd say he's behind Homer Bailey for the title of best pitching prospect, unlike Scout). Those 2 are top-20 prospects nationwide, but the rest isn't that great.

I really don't like this list all that much.

Me neither...it looks pretty off. Jeremy Sowers 6th OVERALL? Josh Fields and Andy LaRoche ahead of Troy Tulowitzki and Billy Butler? Scott Elbert and Matt Garza below guys like Mark Rogers, Elijah Dukes, and Chris Volstad? Yovanni Gallardo 122nd ranked pitcher??? Really bizarre list if you ask me...

I'm wondering when the list was put together.

Well Gallardo being the 122nd best pitching prospect leads me to believe it was prior to the start of the season. However, there's no way Tabata, Hughes, Pence, Brignac, H. Sanchez, Iannetta, and many others are that high before the season. So I guess it's probably pretty recent and they just really messed up on a lot of players. Also, where's Ian Stewart? No matter how you look at it, this list is pretty bad.
