Redemption for Ronnie.......Greg is by far the best fielding pitcher on the Cubs right now.

 

Greg might be the greatest fielding pitcher of all-time. He's been a defensive wizard tonight. I want him as our pitching coach.

Lamb grounded an IF single to second base

Lamb stole second base

Burke grounded into a FC, 1-5, Lamb out at third

Berkman popped out to to first base

Huff singled to center field , Burke to third

Wilson doubled to right center field , Burke & Huff scored

Ausmus struck out swinging

Does anyone here think Pierre can throw it more than 50 feet on the fly?

 

Yes, he can!

 

I was standing by the visitors' bullpen during batting Marlins batting practice last year. Juan was playing catch with one of the Marlins pitchers.

 

Juan was standing on the outfield side of 2nd base. He threw one ball that overshot the pitcher and hit a little kid standing at the bullpen wall trying to get autographs.
