I agree there's little to no chance of him being traded, but unless they make a serious run in the 2nd half, I wouldn't be surprised if he signs elsewhere in the off-season.

i heard an interview with the brewer GM yesterday, he said plainly that they are trying to lock him up long term now and will be adding b4 the break

I'm okay with Neifi being DFA'd but I don't think you can let Cedeno be this lost for the rest of the year. It will destroy any confidence he has ever had. What we really need is someone to work with him. We could call that guy a "hitting coach".

Well that maybe true, but I don't think we wan him anywhere near the guy we are currently calling hitting coach.
