Palmeiro flies out to the warning track to end the inning, with both Novoa and Ohman pretty much ready I think this was Prior's last inning. His final line:

6IP 4H 4R/3ER 7/4 K/BB 6.00 ERA 1.33 WHIP

3 ER in 6 IP is a 4.50 ERA.

Yes I forgot to go back and edit it, I originally calculated it with 4ER instead of 3.

That version of "God Bless America" was quite bad.

I wasn't going to say anything, but it seemed like she was putting emphasis (or lack of it) on all the wrong words. It was definitely different.

The Nationals come back to win their game in the 9th inning with a 3-run walkoff shot by Zimmerman. Borowski blew the save.

Ya she sang like the Cubs...everything was backwards.

Berkman strikes out swinging. Howry is coming into the game now.

Edit: Crap it's a double switch...I really hope he's bringing Jones into the game, but odds are he's switching Pagan and Murton.

BRILLIANT!!! Get Barretts bat out of there down by 3!

This is possibly the dumbest move Dusty has made in weeks.

A - remove one of your best hitters and replace him w/ one of your worst - when Barrett's spot has to come up again if you are going to win,

B - use your backup C in the 7th inning (good thing we have Nevin!),

C - use a double switch when there's no guarantee that the Ps spot will come up in the next inning.

Wouldn't we be better off just putting in Howry and seeing what happens the next inning? If the Cubs go 1-2-3, you can replace the P in the 9th with a guy you want leading off - NOT BLANCO. Cripes Dusty, it's like you're just throwing darts at names on a wall.

YIKES!!!The wheels of Dustywisdom are turning. A double switch and now two pinch hitters. This is going to be a real team loss with everyone contributing.

Well now he brings in Pagan to PH for Nevin instead of Jones and he strikes out anyways. Most of Dusty's moves continue to amaze me.

We're already on our 4th pitcher too.

Pagan for Nevin and then JJ for Murton?

I figured it out - Dusty just got the news that he got fired so he wants to play everyone in his last game w/ the team. That has to be it. Please.

Oh boy, Rusch is throwing in the bullpen now too...maybe he'll get a chance for some fireworks in the 9th?

All is well. Glendon is back.

Wow, Dusty is going all out with his moves today.

All out maybe but certainly not all in. He's all show, he doesn't care about the pot anymore I guess.

Hate to say I told you so, Dusty, but you don't double switch when the Ps spot is due 4th the next inning. Looks pretty dumb when your team goes K, K, pop out and the Ps spot never comes up.
