Prior back to the DL after fouling that pitch off his leg. :shock:

 

He'd better not end up being hurt. It took him about a minute before he was ready to get back to the plate, and he didn't look that comfortable going down to first.

Though I'd like to wait a little longer, it is starting to look more & more like Cedeno just isn't a major league quality starting SS.

 

I think they should take the same approach with him that the Astros have taken with Everett. His defense is pretty good, his bat just needs to catch up now. He's still only 23 so he's got time to develop.

Ha! I was just kidding about it but it wouldn't surprise me if he was hurt.

I hope you're right. Could be looking at another washout with the coaching staff working with him though.

Is it a coincidence our younger players get worse the longer they around Baker & Co.?

I'll never understand why they pitched to Lee there but I'm glad they did.

 

Ramirez may be slumping but he's still very dangerous.

Yeah, but I'd still rather pitch to ARAM. And if they had the Cubs would not have scored.
