Prior will be making his first rehab start of the year, after this game he will fly back to Chicago to see what his next step will be. Speculation is he will make another start with Peoria then maybe make a start with Iowa before being called up.

Just a couple of notes on the matchup in case anyone's interested --

I edited the broadcast info into the first post.

Kane County is the Oakland low-A affiliate. There are 14 teams in the Midwest League. Here's the link to sortable team batting stats. Kane County is first in team average (.269), second in OBP (.353) and 5th in slugging (.375). It is a low-A team so they aren't polished hitters for the most part, but it's one of the more likely low-A teams to make you throw strikes.

With 21 games remaining in the half the Chiefs are in the Wild Card spot in the Western Division. They are 1 game behind first place Kane County who hosts Wisconsin at 6:00 PM Sunday. Peoria leads Beloit by 4 games for the Wild Card after Beloit won 7-2 over Burlington Sunday.

Kane County won Sunday night, so Peoria is now 1.5 games behind them for the Western Division lead.

Finally, Jesus Valdez of the Chiefs has a 19-game hitting streak, tied for 3rd longest in Chiefs franchise history, going into tonight's game.

Thanks for letting us know how to get this. I'm tuned in, and eager.

Im tuned in because im bored

I'm playing with a spreadsheet for my mum, so I could think of more exciting things to do, but I am looking forward to it.

Another hit given up by Prior. The runner on 2nd scores, but then Gregg's throw to 3rd went into the dugout allowing the other runner to score. 3-0 Kane County.

Well, Prior's velocity is indeed a concern.

Yeah not good. Wasnt wood around this too when he rehabed? Wood today was throwing hard, maybe Prior can follow his path of success.
