if you give any manager good players, he's going to look good.

Agreed. Look up Joe Torre's managerial record before he came to the Yankees. It was all about timing with Joe.

Managing a good team that stays healthy makes managing pretty easy.

Because he is a great manager.

I am for one am looking forward to 3 more years.

Also he is just one of 4 managers to ever be +.500 8 years in a row in theentire modern history of the National League. Not an easy feat. Just wish we had a GM to get him some players.

Edit: Bobby Cox, Fred Clarke, and Walt Alston are the others.

Bull carp. This incompetent so-called "manager" never managed a game in his life. His juicer, cheater, power man (who should be out of baseball) made it unnecessary to "manage" anything. You boy is a pathetic loser; and, a complete idiot.

Dusty isn't a terrible manager but he definitely cannot get this team to play for him. Also the bench Hendry gives Baker is not helping him at all when their is an injury, plus Dusty needs to learn to manage a bullpen.

I would say that Dusty is a terrible manager because I have yet to see a fundamentally sound squad placed on the team by him. I haven't seen good fundamentals from our team since Riggs was fired.
