It was a funny and rather badass at the time, but now it just makes me sad. Granted, the guy was probably pissed at himself for serving that 3-run shot to a Black Sox cast off ham 'n' egger, but at the same time, how often have you seen Greg frickin' Maddux driven to such frustration and anger? That's a bad sign.

Dusty needs to do something like that on the field to fire up the team. Do you think he doesn't do that stuff b/c he's got a 5-year old son? Ozzie does that type of stuff and his kids are all grown up. Do you think the age of their childer have anything to do with it? He was embarrased when Darren saw him throw the bat and lineup cards at the ump.

yeah, anyone who loves the Cubs can hardly stand how pathetic this team is right now. I am so disgusted with them that I have chosen to ignore it, so reading about this happening made me chuckle. Glad at the same time to see that someone else besides Barrett is fed up with losing...

dusty getting the team fired up isn't going to help their obp, and it's not going to stop the pitchers from walking everything in sight.
