I'd love to be at the D-Jaxx game tonight. That looks like a great pitching matchup.

Guzman's line so far: 4 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 1 BB, 4 K, 68 pitches - 42 strikes.

I-Cubs still tied at 1-1. Pie is 0-3.

Not a great end to the night for Guzman. He loaded up the bags with 1 away in the 6th and couldn't get out of it. Williams came in to get the final out. And that was after he gave up a pair in the 5th on a HBP and sac fly. His final line:

5.2 IP, 6 H, 3 R, 4 BB, 6 K, WP, HBP, BK, 109 pitches - 64 strikes

Well Williams' night didn't last long. He got the final out in the 6th, but here's his 7th:

Bottom 7TH B:4 S:0 O:0

Keith Ginter walks.

Bottom 7TH B:1 S:0 O:0

Hiram Bocachica singles on a line drive to left fielder Luis Montanez. Keith Ginter to 2nd.

Bottom 7TH B:1 S:0 O:0

Nathan Espy singles on a line drive to right fielder Buck Coats. Keith Ginter to 3rd. Hiram Bocachica to 2nd.

Bottom 7TH B:1 S:1 O:0

Scott McClain hits a ground-rule double (9) on a line drive to left field. Keith Ginter scores. Hiram Bocachica scores. Nathan Espy to 3rd.

Bottom 7TH B:4 S:0 O:0

Jerome Williams intentionally walks Jeremy Brown.

Bottom 7TH B:0 S:0 O:0

Pitcher Change: Mark Watson replaces Jerome Williams.

But Watson manages to get out of the bases loaded, no-out jam with a 3-pitch force at home and a 2-pitch 4-6-3 DP.

I-Cubs down 5-1.

Guzman doubled his walk total for the season with his 4 walks yesterday.

Marmol watch!

54.1 IP, 38 H, 0 HR, 24 BB, 63 K, 2.15 ERA

That Marmol is something, isn't he?

A few more: .189 BAA, 1.14 WHIP
