Do you guys think a complete overhaul of this franchise is in order. I mean lets face it the Cubs arent going to win anything with this bunch and maybe it would be a good idea to get rid of a lot of high salary players and start from the bottom up.

I don't think a firesale happens at least until DLee has been back for a while if at all. Management probably wants to see how the full team will perform. I don't necessarily agree with this, but I think this is how they're going about things.

Exactly, if Lee, Prior, and Miller come back and the team goes on a roll, they can say "well imagine what we could have done." This enables them to do nothing in the offseason, counting on oft-injured players (minus Lee) to play a huge role yet again.
