Sidewinders/Sacramento River Cats. Is there anyone I should know about? Carlos Quinton, Scott Hairston, Stephen Drew, and Casey Daigle are the guys I heard of on the Sidewinders. What about Sacramento?

LHP Dan Meyer, 1B Daric Barton and, of course, DIE HARD!

santiago casilla (pitcher formerly known as Jairo Garcia) is a fireballer if i recall correctly; I don't know his role with the cats, but he was tried out as a reliever in the majors.

Daric Barton(1B/DH) and Dan Meyer(SP) have already had a taste of the major leagues, but they are there too.

Diehard is on the team..so is jeremy moneyball brown.

for laughs, kazuhito tadano is on the team....adults, google him for some amusing articles from about 2 years ago  He has talent obviously, but man, talk about carrying a burden.

I don't know, the most interesting to me is Casilla, but most of my knowledge is fed from Oakland beat reporters, so what do i really know?

Ahh. I was wondering what happened to Jairo.

I'd say Barton is the most interesting- he's the A's best prospect (came over in the Mulder trade) and BA ranked him one spot behind Felix Pie in the top 100 list for all of baseball (#28).

hmm...interesting might not have been the best word.

I'm just not worried about Barton, I really think he'll do his thing when a roster spot opens for him in the majors.

So, I find Casilla the most intriguing on the team?

Isn't Jenny Finch marrieged to Daigle?
Yes she is. A couple of years ago (I believe the year when she was on the Olympic team) they kept showing shots of her during Cubs-Dbacks telecasts.
