Well, there are other HOF pitchers who have cheated but I get your drift.

yup, although that was more in reference to his vaunted D.

Right, I could swear that was in a thread comparing the teams in the NL central as a whole, not just defense.

OMG, Maddux's ERA is 0.99 He's never been 4-0 to start the year before. There's a first time for everything.

 

Yes he has - in 2000.

 

Hmm, I heard that on WGN radio so I took their word

 

for it.

 

Maybe they meant he has never won 4 straight games to start the season. I'm not sure about this but maybe there were some no decisions in 2000.

That's exactly what they said. Never straight 4 wins, there were no decisions in 2000. I think the total was 7 total starts at 4-0.

 

I'm listening to the radio and watching TV so I missed part of it.

It initially started in a game thread after another Cedeno airmail package to 1st. Then someone whined in the thread you remember, complaining that I'd have the audacity to call Cedeno "crap."
