Despite words to the contrary, the article seems to hint that all may not be right with the shoulder.

Either fluff or history. No one knows, including Rolen, what he'll be able to do this year. So far, there've been no setbacks, he's hitting for a good avg. this spring, and his power isn't quite there yet (which is expected and not unlike a lot of other ballplayers). Make of it what you will.

Right. I agree that there are questions, but I don't think anybody is denying that.

Same writer who predicts the Astros to win the Central with a 94-68 record and the Cubs to finish .500 and in 4th place. Oh and the Cardinals to finish at 91-71 winning the wild card

I think most people will tell you a shoulder injury is one of the worst to diagnose and get back to 100% for baseball players. Anyway, if Rolen is unhealthy the Cardinals will just plug in some bum who will end up having an all-star caliber year.
