3/13 ST: Rockies (Jennings) vs. Cubs (Rusch) 2:05pm CSN

Today's game vs the Rockies and the dreaded Jason Jennings will be televised on Comcast Sportsnet and MLB-TV. WGN-radio is not broadcasting the game, and although the Colorado broadcast was listed on the Gameday Audio schedule, the listing is apparently a mistake and the radio broadcast is not available.

 

This is one of only two Cubs spring training games that CSN is televising. The other is the March 27 game vs the White Sox, which will be a White Sox broadcast.

 

According to the Press Pass, Mabry is scheduled to start at 1B today.

 

Cubs are 6-4 in ST games; Rockies are 3-8.

Off to a 6-4 spring training start, the Cubs look to continue their winning ways as they host the Colorado Rockies (CSN, 2 p.m.).

None of this is a big deal, just as most spring lineups aren't. Jacque Jones isn't back from Minnesota yet. The Cubs want to look at Hairston in the outfield, and Cedeno has seen the bulk of action at shortstop.

Well, that would explain it. MLB decided not to look at the Rockies schedule and notice that they're doing a split-squad game. KOA is covering the other Rockies game, which isn't until tonight. So no gameday audio for this one.
