What a [expletive] screw job on Washington tonight. The entire starting lineup fouls out, Conn turns it over 30 times and shoots 24 more FT's. The refs missed 2 goaltends and numerous out of bounds calls. I really can't say I've seen a team get screwed so badly (don't bring up the Ill/Wash game --- Illinois was horrible).

Calhoun rode the refs in the first half. Lorenzo Romar was passive and the refs just sucked on Calhoun from the start of the second half buzzer to the finish.

Brutal. Washington deserves an apology from the NCAA.

I don't know what happened in the 2nd half. I missed the first half, because the other game was on here. Roy was getting molested. And I have no idea how you can miss goaltending calls. Washington did get screwed. Romar is a helluva coach. Roy is gonna be a good NBA player.

Yes, Illinois sucked at times during that game and should have adjusted better to the officiating. But they still got screwed by the refs just as much as Washington did in that game.

Aldridge is the best player in college basketball. I know Morrison and Redick will be co-POTY. But Aldridge is an excellent player. I thought this tourney would be his coming out party, but he hasn't even gotten the press he's deserved. Texas has a legit shot to get the sweep and hold all 3 major sports titles in college basketball.

vomit. baseball is not a major college sport.

Aldridge needs to stay one more year, and play with Kevin Durant next year.

I don't think Aldridge is consistent enough to be considered the best player in college basketball. He was on and off for much of the season, though I would say his performance tonight was a fatigue issue more than anything.

The one player who was really overlooked this year was Brandon Roy. He was a 20/5/5 player and basically brought that every game this season.

awful awful game tonight. I hate when the refs blow the whistle every 10 seconds for 35 minutes and then swallow them. ridiculous officiating, sloppy sloppy play and a 1 seed having to play a roadgame.

geez, the refs gave uconn every chance to win that one.

huh? Every bad call went against them starting from the end of the first half. I don't recall a single call that helped UConn stay in the game. So, following the pattern, GM should expect lots of bad calls against them in the Final Four.

i only watched from the last few minutes of regulation on. i thought there were a few defensive fouls called on GM that bailed out uconn. and that jump ball call when the GM guy cleanly stripped the ball away was terrible.

I don't know what that was. I think it was actually a foul called. But UConn didn't shoot and the shot clock didn't reset. I still don't know what happened there.

I didn't see the shot clock thing but that offensive foul call at the end of regulation was awful. as was the foul called on UConn on defense. Team beats collection of athletes. Perhaps the NCAA will teach us what the olympics hasn't taught us yet.
