So we're through to the next round?

Sorry, I'm completely out of it. At work, hell is breaking loose all around, no time to follow the WBC 8)

Yep. Next game is Sunday at 3:00 CDT vs. Japan.

Man, 17-0.

Thank goodness for that Mercy Rule. Other than that, the game got pretty boring after it got out of hand.

Is there any talk of them flipping the time with the Korea and Mexico game to have it on TV? I'm guessing they planned the TV schedule thinking that the US would win the pool, but right now, the game is only going to be on ESPN Deportes with no replay.

I wanna actually see Japan sometime.

I'm gonna guess they'll add as many games as they possibly can without conflicting with preexisting coverage they have to show. The WBC games have been doing pretty big ratings.

I'd hope so but I haven't seen anything to that effect. As it's currently listed Japan won't have any live-televised games in round two while the only US game on english TV will be their rematch with Mexico. I'm with you, though; the more I can see of the US, Japan, and Korea live the happier I'll be. At the very least I'd want them to show the replays in their entirety, as at least I can DVR them and watch them later.

What channel will the next game be shown? (If it will be?)

"Japan vs Pool B Runner-up" only has Deportes.

I just watched my recording of this game and after it became apparent that the US was going to win the announcers started talking about our next game vs. Japan. If Stoney and the PBP guy are to be believed then it will still take place in the afternoon but it will be picked up by ESPN2. I hope that's the case, as I'd love to watch the game live.

EDIT: Just looked at ESPN's schedule for tomorrow and it does indeed list the Japan-US game at 3:00 CDT tomorrow for ESPN2. Excellent.

I saw a commercial on ESPN this afternoon and I thought it said the USA game would be on ESPN or ESPN2. I didn't see it again, though. No changes made to the online listings yet.
