They ran out of mics for Selig?

They're gonna ask Selig about Barry....trying to decide how to phrase it well. Waiting until the end of the interview for that.

The pitch count thing is in effect to ease the fears of teams whose pitchers aren't quite ready. But do those applyl to pitchers not signed in the league? Can Cuban pitchers do as they please? What about foreign pitchers not in the league? What about Roger?

During the Canada/South Africa game the other day Stoney was talking about how the SA manager limited Michaels and Armitage to under 50 pitches so they would be eligable to go today, so I think it is for everyone.

So if a Cuban starter was dealing, would they be forced to pull the guy when he reached the limit? Would they stop the game until they pulled him?

new South African pitcher is fat.

He's the only player on the team in the Minor/Major leagues.

I think they have two:

Armitage and Lamont

Youre clearly right.

Just so you know, this is where I pulled my claim from

a South Africa team with only one current professional player -- Royals minor-league pitcher Barry Armitage.

Selig is coming in the 4th?

Talking to the SA coach:

Stoney - "I don't know who these guys from Team USA are, but they're not bad"

I only know because I was up until 3:30 the other night doing homework, and any kind of baseball is better than infomercials about seaweed or total gyms.
