this is the first time I did a live draft fantasy team, So how did I fare?

C - Michael Barret

1B - Adam Dunn

2B - Luis Castillo

3B - Miggy Cabrera

SS - Bobby Crosby

OF - Brian Giles

OF - Milton Bradley

OF - Brian Wilkerson

Util - Ramon Hernandez

BN - Matt Murton

BN - Felix Pie

SP - Mark Prior

SP - Scott Kazmir

SP - Ervin Santana

RP - Billy Wagner (i meant to click on K-Rod, oops :x)

RP - Bobby Jenks

P - Bobby Howry

P - Jerome Williams

BN - Eric Bedard

BN - Jeff Francis

A couple of things, a couple of the wierd Cubs picks (Pie, Howry, I was bored and it was the last rounds Pie was my last pick, in fact i'm probably going to drop him anyways)

I've got some decent pitching with alot of upside, if Bedard comes back to form and if Williams is in the rotation and pitching well.

If your pitching staff all play to their potential, your team will be incredible. As for a standard, 12-team roto or H2H public league (im assuming thats what you are in?), I'm not sure how well they will far. But hell, if that was a real team in the MLB, they'd win the World Series. This is one of the reasons I wish public fantasy leagues implemented more important baseball stats like OBP, SLG, and such.

Sorry, but I really don't see a team like that winning any league. Your infield is very good, except for Castillo. He hits for average but thats about it, as he doesn't steal and has zero power. Your outfield is pretty weak; Giles is good, especially in leagues that count walks, but hes not a number one type fantasy outfielder. Maybe you could get a first baseman like Dan Johnson or Chris Shelton other people might have passed on so you could plug Dunn in the outfield. Also, just as a rule, I would never, ever put a catcher in the utility spot. Catcher is by far the weakest spot offensively, one is enough in a lineup. There has to be someone, even Murton, who will give you better production.

Pitching wise, yes you have a lot of potential but you also have a ton of health risks. You should try to have one guy who you can get a reliable 200 innings out of. Hopefully Prior finally gets there this year, and if he does hes a great number one. Kazmir is a decent 3 or 4 guy, but a 2 is stretching it, since he'll give you little wins wise. I happen to think Wagner is a very good top closer, and could be better than K-Rod. His team should win a lot of games, possibly giving him more saves than K-Rod, and he'll probably have a better WHIP and ERA. Jenks, however, can go either way, and no one knows if he'll even stay as the Whitesox's closer. You might want to boot saves all together and package Wagner for either a big bat or a stud starting pitcher.

Sorry if I'm sounding too critical, I'm just trying to give you advice on how to improve.

It's not public it's from another mb i post at, and OPS is a stat that is used.

16 teams, so the pickings were pretty slim and honestly I really had no strategy when picking so it's all good.
