God...Now I'm gonna have to listen to Mike North talk about "Pahdsaidnick" all time time. I detest Mike North.

I got XM radio for Christmas - haven't turned on the Score since.

Dempster was on The Score last year with Mike North in the morning. He was pretty entertaining. The Score will also be adding another former Cubs player to be on the air with Mike. The agreement will be reached next week. Stoney will probably be back also.

Score management knows that even though they have the White Sox broadcasts, they still need to provide alot of Cubs talk. It's still a Cubs market and while we can tolerate some Sox talk, we won't listen to 100% of it.

Cub fans still have more money to spend than Sox fans and the Cubs remain the most popular team in MLB.

The Red Sox and - I hate to say - the Yankees are more popular to be honest.

Ratings for Cubs games on Fox and ESPN are easily the most watched. The Cubs radio network extends coast to coast. Cubs merchandise continue to outsell all the rest.

Got figures to back that up? I have a hard time believing it.

I have seen one Cubs hat in the UK in my lifetime. I have probably seen more Yankees caps than I have hairs on my head.

That's the UK perspective.

Yeah, but I'd guess 90% of people wearing Yankees hats in England don't know who the Yankees are, and if they do, have never sat down and watched a baseball game.

In my experience, they wear them mostly for the design on the hat.

Doesn't prevent me from scowling at them though... :x

I obviously can't hear it, but I look forward to someone posting updates as to what Dempster says.

You can listen via the internet at 670thescore.com. Just click on "listen live." The Mike North Show is on from 6am-10am CT but it's not for the faint of heart (or people that don't like mixing politics with sports).

Dempster is truely a hilarious man. I saw him at the caravan and he had the whole crowd (that was old enough to know about/remember harry caray) gasping for air.

Score management may have got the hint, if you listen to there station promo's it has changed from Listen to the Sox on WSCR to we talk about Cubs baseball on WSCR.
