i don't know what the big deal was about dunn anyway, he's fat, he's a poor defender, he's not clutch, he's terrible on the hit and run, he doesn't bunt, he doesn't shake things up on the basepaths, and he strikes out too much! who cares if he walks alot, walks don't win games-bunting wins games, small ball wins games.

besides, dunn wants to raise his family in cincinnati, which has great schools, the weather is terrific, and the quality of life is amazing. why would he want to think about leaving? it's likely he never considered chicago as a destination, i bet his agent just told hendry to go "take a walk".

THANK YOU! I feared I was alone.

I think you probably are. That was pretty thick, Sulley.

Maybe not everyone has a Dunn 'hard-on'. HEY, do you guys think that Dunn would be in the Hall of Fame if he, like, died tomorrow or something? Because I really think that he's accomplished all the accomplishments that he needs to accomplish. Maybe they could make him a saint, too. The Patron Saint of the "Good Eye" he could be called. We'd mourn for weeks and then celebrate his almost getting 200 strikeouts in 2004. He's a rally STARTER, though, not a rally KILLER. I hear he's quite the fisherman, too. Come to Chicago, Adam Dunn, and you'll be a fisher of MEN.

Yeah, like totally, fer sure.

No, he wouldn't make the HOF if he died tomorrow, but project his numbers over a 15 year career, and he has a legitimate shot.

not many players who die at 26 make the hall of fame.

if he played 12 more years at the same production, he'd hit 632 home runs, and drive in around 1500 runs for his career. are those stats "truthy" enough for you.

Wow, I had no idea. I stand corrected.
