I think being a Cubs fan has allowed me to accept the dissapointments of being a Colts fan as well. Sunday officially marked another disappointing sports year for me.

It's sad, I was cracking jokes about the Colts/Steelers game all day, someone asked me how I could be so lighthearted about it. I had to explain that I'm well conditioned :x

I think being a Cubs fan is what makes being a Carolina fan feel so odd - I'm totally unused to being a fan of a team that always seems to pull out a big play when they need one, especially in big games.

It's funny how the media associates the Cubs with a team that has had had wild succeess in the regular season but none in the playoffs, considering our regular season performance over the past few decades has been pathetic at best.
