Agreed. The panjama uniforms of the 80's were terrible.

I like them, except that

 

(1) Sleeveless jerseys are for T-Ball.

 

(2) They ditched the striped stirrups, a Cardinal staple. Why go old school while ditching an old school element?

The stripe that goes down the sleeve looks terrible IMO, which means I like the sleeveless jerseys much better. Something about the design seems like a clash of several designs, a lack of continuity. Maybe it'll look different in actuality on the players.

---I think they're awesome. Maybe the Cubs could re-design their road uniforms, along the same line. I would never touch the home uniforms...but if we were to have road uniforms like this --I definitely, would buy one. Hey also maybe this guy would be willing to design new unis for the Iowa Cubs. They need it!

Personally, I can't stand grey uniforms. I like the blue tops a lot.

 

Also, the navy BP jerseys & caps get on my nerves. When did navy become a Cub color?

I heard they were talking about changing the road uni's. No more gray. More of an old school cream color.

I'm just the opposite. I prefer the road grays to the blue top. I absolutely abhor the blue jersey with the home pinstripe pants. I think only the pinstripes should be worn at home.

I agree that when Cubs are at home, they should only where the pinstripes....Like the Cards, The Cubs have one of baseball's classic uniforms and should stick to that on thier home games.
