    What a disaster this season is becoming.. we are right around .500 and have yet to play good baseball. I think we have it in us to play good baseball. I don't expect Lou to prevent us from playing good baseball. I understand that were are close to .500 but if our bullpen was a little better I actually wouldn't be surprised if we were tied for the NL Central lead. What I don't like is our inconsistent bullpen and talk of Dempster going back to the rotation. Dempster is a terrible starter and probably one of our reliable arms save for that blow up last week. Guzman was doing well as our 5th starter, and moving him to the pen isn't a great idea IMO. Howry isn't the same pitcher, neither is Eyre. Something needs to be done with our bullpen but I don't believe sending Guzman to the pen while still leaving the same guys who have issues there a solution to the problem.

    OUR OFFENSE SUCKS! TRADE THE WHOLE TEAM!!! I think it's the way to go, that is if you can trade these guys.

    batting average isn't everything. DeRosa hasn't done squat since the beginning of the year, he sucks right now. .133 AVG, 500 OPS in May. Yeah, he's not an everyday player. 2 more years of him though.Thank You Jim Hendry.

    Chances are, Hendry is a goner after this year but unfortunately the damage has been done with his ridiculous backloaded contracts. We're strapped with an overrated and overpriced player in Soriano. DeRosa has been bombing and every single setup man Hendry has signed to ridiculous money has bombed, Eyre, Howry, Remlinger, Hawks etc.. This guy is a TERRIBLE GM! I bet you any money when Hendry signed Soriano to that RIDICULOUS contract there were GMs out there laughing their asses off, I know I would. Fire the man already!

    I hope that he is. Guzman has pitched really good so far and we have Marshall pitching great in the minors. There's not reason to hold onto a guy who clearly will never be the same again.

    Agreed. I don't think these guys are going through a tough stretch, I think these guys were overused and now we're paying the price for it.
