  1. It's definitely poorly constructed. Who else has all LFers for the OF?
  2. Oh snap Pagan hit a homer! :) Jones against lefties is always a bad idea.
  3. Fixed for posterity. Z's pathetic pitching, lack of defense, lack of offense did us in. There really is a lot to be concerned about with this team. Z CF RF DeRosa
  4. Not really. Plus, he's playing out of position. That fly ball had nothing to do with playing out of position. Neither did the first one, really. The guys is an OF he should catch a routine flyball and keep balls that drop in front of him from getting past him. Didn't Jack Wilson just have a three error game? God, people, its just a game. He's still an average defender having a bad day, not the other way around. I don't know. I think he's worse than average playing RF.
  5. THANK YOU. Holy... You mean, there's actually another person on this board that realizes Soriano playing out of position isn't helping the team? Yeah, but he doesn't want to play 2B anymore. With the way DeRosa has been batting lately we might not have a choice.
  6. Not really. Plus, he's playing out of position. Out of position? It's a routine fly ball for god sakes. Murton has no business in RF. Period. Neither does Floyd. We have too many LFers and no RFers. Regardless, if you can't catch routine fly balls you have no business playing the outfield. Don't give excuses that was a bad play. I'm not giving excuses. All of our OFers can't play defense. Murton is one of them that falls into this category. Blame Hendry for signing all LFers and not one RFer. Murton has been terrible today, no excuse but again, we have no RFer.

  9. Jeez, our OF is just plain bad. Ironically Lou was talking to Santo during the pregame show and said his questionable OF defense hasn't cost them a game yet. After today he will probably have to rethink that one.
  10. DeRosa rounding back to his career numbers? Looks like it.
  11. That may be the case but he NEEDS to stop first pitch swinging.
  12. All of a sudden his velocity jumped up? What is wrong with this guy?
  13. I remember when Z used to throw his 2 seamer 94-95 a couple years ago. Last year he seemed to be in the 93 range and this year his 2seamer hits 92. I could be wrong but that's what I remember. Maybe these stats look to be right after all. http://www.baseballprospectus.com/dt/zambrca01.php
  14. lol I'm right here, friend. So he played a ball badly. Clearly this means he should never play. Murton is still the 4th, 5th, or 6th best hitter on this team, and he'll only get better. You make me sick. Every time Murton gets a hit, I certainly don't use that one AB to make the case that he should play. Instead I use his hundreds of ML ABs as reference. Go play with Legos or something. Being a jerk. So easy, even a caveman can do it. In fairness to Regulus calling a whole group of people Dumb Murton backers isn't exactly cordial either.
  15. Cant blame ya. He is frustrating to watch this year.
  16. It's May and Z is still struggling. Not good.
