Cedeno should be starting first of all. It's beyond ridiculous. Hendry needs to grow balls and fire Dusty. He is THE cancer.

he has given up 1 er through 4 today so this game will help most likely. he cant win because our offense is a joke. He ha sgiven up 2 ER.

I dont know if it has to do with him throwing 120 pitches or his tennis elbow and what-not, but his era has ballooned from last year.

what do you think is wrong with him? I don't know, but it seems he has lost about 2mph on his pitches and he doesnt have as much comand of the zone as before. his last start he was throwing 98 so i dont think his velocity is gone. Z is better in the 93 range. His 2-seamer used to hit 94-95. It doesnt anymore.

Sorry, but I just don't believe there is nothing wrong with Zambrano.

The lineup isnt perfect but it's better than what Dusty usually puts out there.

Looks like everybody agrees that Corey and Perez should not be in the 1 and 2 hole. Just goes to show you how much of a clue Baker has. -

Why the heck did they bring Cedeno up? I mean seriously...Let him play in AAA if we won't be able to play here. There's just so many things wrong with this team.

I doubt it. At this point, I bet Corey could go 4 for 5 with a cycle, make a few wonderful defensive plays and strike out in his last AB and get booed unmercifully. Now that I doubt.

I bet you if he laid off the high or outside pitches people would stop booing.

Oh we can more than contend with Patterson. But Dusty right now is not putting Patterson in a position to even succeed. Dusty should sit him for a few games. Let him catch his breath. And then exclusivly bat him in the 7th hole. Don't put the pressure of leading off on him and don't try to turn him into something he is not. I think it's at the point where Corey just isn't going to be successful in Chicago. He's the new LaTroy Hawkins. Getting rid of 30+ year old reliever who had a bad couple of years is different than getting rid of a 25 year old CF who as recently as last year had stretches of brilliance. Put Corey in a low presse part of the lineup and stop trying to turn him into Lou Brock. I think he can be an above average player (maybe not a star but well worth having around) for us but not if Dusty, the media and the fans keep trying to play with the kid's head. His play is unacceptable it's that simple. If you ask me, he deserves to get booed.
