    I think it might be a little sooner than that. I'd like to see Dubois get more playing time. But you have to admit, Hollandsworth is pretty hot right now (7h/15ab's, 8 rbi last four games). And if the Cubs want to get back into the race, Baker has not choice but to go with the hot hand. Yup, he has been playing very well as of late and we really can't complain since we are winning games and that's the bottom line. But, I like seeing the Rook start.

    It was fun while it lasted. I doubt we see Dubois until we see a LH pitcher.

    For what it's worth, to me at least Wood hasn't been the same pitcher ever since his injury last year while playing against the Dodgers.

    Man, this guy is always injured. It would've been nice to have him up instead of Koronka. Thanks for the updates.

    I know he has been out with an injury but have there been any updates on his health and possibly a time frame on his return?

    There's no way the O's let him walk. I wouldn't get my hopes up about this one.

    No way would I trade Corey for an old Lofton.

    There are only two problems with Corey. He Ks a lot and doesnt walk at all. His AVG isnt that bad. If he can take care of those things which can be corrected(hopefully) He would be ok.

    Furcal is having a horrible year, .229 BA, .281 OBP, .614 OPS. Career prior to this year: .347 OBP, .751 OPS. I would still take him. All of a sudden he has been heating up.

    Imagine having Furcal at SS and Walker at 2B. That's a pretty good 1-2 punch. No Furcal, then I would not mind to have Hairston as our starting 2B.

    Right here. It sucks that we're going to lose Sisco, but I still say it was the right move to make at the time. Its never a right move when you can lose any of your top prospects.

    Where are the Hendry supporters now? People were VERY confident we would be receiving both pitchers back. That certainly isnt the case. This just burns me.

    Baker lives and dies by his Righty/Lefty matchups. We can have a pitcher that has a 722.avg against righties but just because he is a lefty Baker will take his chance.

    Dusty has an unorthodox way of managing. He goes by what he thinks the best move will be at any given time. Unfortunately, those moves pay off 20% of the time. I think it's best to not get cute and do the logical move when asked upon. Did you guys hear what Dusty said recently? How everybody got their wish now and that Hairston will be playing everyday. Yeah Dusty like we wanted Hairston to play at the expense of Nomar's injury. I don't know how much more I can handle before I lose it.

    Holy hyperbole, Hendry isn't a fool. He took a calculated gamble that doesn't look like it is going to pay off. Some wouldn't have made that gamble in the first place, myself I would have. And that gamble will cost us one of our top prospects.

    Hendry is a fool for letting Sisco go. I dont care if his era shoots up to 5. We should of never have given the opportunity for him to be drafted through rule V anyways.

    baker is such an idiot. I hope (which i doubt) Hendry doesnt resign him. I cant stand that man.

    It's a shame because Walker was playing so well for us. Good thing we have Hairston though. He will fit right in. Maybe see what Fontenot can do at the major league level as well.
