    But how long till or will the Cubs even make the move? If Williams throws today, I'd be willing to bet a good outing will get him the start next time around. I can see that happening.

    You'd rather give rusch more innings to do damage? Who said that? (besides you) Rusch has been more productive in the rotation than the pen. I asked, not said. :wink: He's doing awesome right now. Love that 9+ ERA in the rotation. Read the rest of my and you'll see my feelings on Rusch in the rotation or try and remember my posts in the past, how I wanted Williams over Rusch last year as well as Hill over Rusch at the end of last year. Trying to look intelligent by showing how poorly Rusch is doing, helps prove my point. Then look at his numbers as a starter compared to a reliever and you'll see what I'm talking about, instead of using stupid smilies. Starter or Relief we can do better than Rusch, that's for sure.

    Cut Rusch outright, that's what I would do. He shouldn't be on this team. He only had one good year for us which is an anomaly.

    Rusch sucks and if I was the GM #1 I would not have resigned him and #2 I would jus release him outright even with his current contract.

    I was at the game so I couldn't see what the velocity was from where I was sitting. What was his fastball hitting? Overall, I thought he did pretty well. I can't wait to see his next start.

    I like this deal. It's not too long and we will have him until 34 and part ways if necessary.

    I was at the game so I didn't see what Izzy's velocity was like but from what I remember from having him on my fantasy team he seemed like he always started the season giving up runs and then became better after a couple of outings. It was also cold out there so that might have some effect on pitchers. In the past TLR has used Izzy on several occasions for 2 innings. That could also mean TLR doesn't have full confidence in his bullpen yet.

    ...and the showers. Hope they were ice cold for Jimmy tonight! What was funny after the game last night we started walking to take a look at the bleachers and what not, sure enough there was a plumber's van in one of those gates. Probably because good ol' Jimmy was complaining a couple days ago. :lol:

    I just got back from the game, and boy was it incredible. Aside from the fact that it was cold, you couldn't ask for anything else. Great win!
