Trading Maddux?

LA wouldn't give squat for Maddux. Let's face it Maddux sucks and we would be lucky to get a midlevel prospect out of it but there's no way we get a top prospect for him. -
I started rooting against the Cubs for a while now, but now I'm actually starting to despise this organization.

Personally, I don't care what Patterson does, I think we can all agree that this coaching staff has to go regardless of how Patterson turns out.

This team sucks and I have ZERO faith in Hendry that he can turn it around. 2003 was a loong time ago.

Corey is gone now but too bad the coaching staff hasn't changed. Didn't you guys find it ridiculous that Sarge was never fired but was moved to 1st instead? Then instead of hiring another hitting coach they just promotoed Clines as hitting coach. Why? What in the world is going on with this organization? Hendry is just a terrible GM. We're not going anywhere until this entire organization gets cleaned out.

Yup, this is what most of us on this board have been calling for. MacPhail, Hendry and Baker are the problem, no question.

Sign that man to an extension, not Dusty. I don't blame him though, I wouldn't be surprised if we hear more comments like this from other players. Everybody is starting to realize that Dusty Baker as manager is all about smoke and mirrors. It's a mirage, and he is the most overrated manager, no question.

I totally agree with you. He was an embarrassment out there. Congrats to La France. Ronaldhino wasn't exactly lighting it up either. France deserved this win. They totally outplayed Brazil in every facet of the game.

Nice. Germany wins it. I believe we will be seeing a Germany vs Brazil final. Tough to choose from those two but it's hard to go against the home team even when the opponent is Brazil.
