    Trade Murton over Floyd? What! Why? Floyd is old, has an injury history and sucks just as bad as Murton playing the OF, if not worse. Floyd should not have been signed in the first place, and should be traded or released IMO. He gets his AB and then he makes a good amount of money and a vestion option for next year, no thanks! It probably won't happen but it makes a lot more sense to move Soriano to RF.

    Signing Floyd to a contract was a mistake from the get go. It's the exact same situation what Hendry did with Walker and Grudzielanek not too long ago. A redundant FA signing.

    You don't recall our bullpen with Alfonsucka or Hawkins then? Well, in a couple years you'll probably be saying, "don't you remember those bozos Howry, Eyre, and Ohman?" It's really that bad. This is definitely in Alfonsucka territory, don't you think? How many leads do they have to blow? And I was really expecting our bullpen to be our strength this year. What a idiot I am. I was too actually. I should have known better to think the Cubs can do even one thing right.

    We might get one. We will firesale before this season is over. No wait we won't, cause Hendry knows he is toast. It's going to be tough to pull off a decent firesale with all the NTCs on this club. Exactly. Hendry has really screwed us.

    Between the bullpen and the fielding, I feel sorry for the Cubs starting pitchers... The offense isn't exactly lights out either. Inconsistent is a word to perfectly describe them.

    It's amazing how far we've come from the "Tyrus Sucks" and "Wasted Pick" comments that were being made about Tyrus at the beginning of the year. He has won me over with his play as the season goes on. And if him on the court keeps guys like Michael Sweetney on the bench, even better. I don't know if Tyrus will ever be a superstar but he has the potential to be the most exciting player to watch in the NBA. His athleticism is just amazing. Him and Ben Gordon are my fav Bulls right now.

    It's a mirage. Give Neifi more playing time and his numbers will get worse, give Murton more playing time and his numbers will get better.

    I agree. And as I type this, Soriano takes a walk, to make it all 29 games now that he's reached base in. Did he reach base on April 10th? I see no BBs or hits.

    Is it this common for teams to swing at first pitches? It happens a lot with this team.

    So did I. And the sad thing is we should be with the production we are getting from Hill, Lillly, and Marquis. What a waste. When you're the Cubs, even the pythag and other stats mean nothing. It's not reality......it's Cub reality. Nothing normal applies. Hill, Lilly, and Marquis can produce all they want. We'll still suck. Lee & ARam can do whatever they want. Even a positive run differential won't matter. We will just suck, period. Thanks for the great weekend, COBS! :evil: 2003 was an anomaly.
