  1. Ryan Gomes admitting to Celtics Tanking???
  2. Ryan Freel is so drunk.
  3. We still have Ben Wallace, and I don't know see how its any skinnier than Tyrus, Deng and Nocioni. Durant is 6' 10" and what like 185 pounds? That's a string bean.
  4. I'd prefer a front court of Oden, Tyrus and Deng, myself. I'll admit. Either scenario is very pleasing ;) I'd love a rotation with Oden Wallace Tyrus Deng Nocioni Gordon Thabo Kirk Seriously, that is an awesome team. And keep PJ. With a new big man coming in and Tyrus' ascension in the late season (his maturation being credited to PJB) he would be an asset to ensure this team's future big men are brought along well.
  5. Could anyone imagine a front court of Tyrus, Deng, and Durant!? Someone get that front court an Eddy Double Cheese special!
  6. At Jersey scares me. Kidd and Carter have been playing well of late. Hopefully that Cavs slip up and make that game unimportant. We will lose that game at NJ. I want no part of them in the playoffs. We just don't match up well with them at all. You'd rather face Miami in the first round than New Jersey? Bulls' strength matches up well with Jersey and the Bulls are too deep. They'd win in 5. Miami, OTOH, I want no part of in the first round.
  7. Lineups were announced on ESPN about an hour ago: Soriano- CF Theriot - 3B Jones- RF Lee- 1B Barrett- C Floyd- LF Cedeno- 2B Izturis- SS Zambrano
  8. The best part of the Hockey playoffs thus far has been more Barry Melrose mullet content on the front page of espn.com barry is the man.
  9. No errors with any of my ESPN leagues and six free months of Insider! (My sub was about to expire). Sweet gig :D
  10. Sorry about that... The Cleveland Browns will try again on selecting a defensive tackle, selecting Marcus Thomas of the University of Florida. Hopefully he works out better than Gerard Warren...
  11. Notorious Cub Killer Aaron Harang will tow the hill against Big Z in a rematch of opening day. At least we didn't lose today! Or tomorrow! Go Cubs!
  12. Sounds like exactly what the Bulls need. A swing man who won't be able to crack the floor for two years. That site has the Bulls passing Spencer Hawes for a swingman. Goodbye legitimacy. I know Hawes most likely won't make a huge impact his rookie season, but he's a high ceiling LEGIT Center who should be ready to be an impact player by the time Ben's contract is approaching its end. ETA: I'd like to see the Bulls employ a draft strategy I've seen the Spurs use: draft young, raw, foreigners in the second round so you can stash them away on your roster for a couple years. Worked like a charm for Tony Parker, Manu, and could have Udrih and Scola if given the chance. They still have Mahinmi somewhere. Long term projects who could pay major dividends for a low risk and someone who likely wouldn't make your team anyway (I'm looking at you Carl Landry.)
  13. Because they want to appease their fan base and could use another offensive weapon for (Charlie Frye?), the Cleveland Browns select local product Anthony Gonzalez WR from THE Ohio State University.
  14. Would I have been more impressed with Afflalo if I watched him play all the time? I get the feeling his first round chances are 50/50 right now. Not exactly a ringing endorsement for a high profile underclassman.
  15. I can't believe how much I underestimated the awfulness of this Knicks team. They are embarrassingly bad. 20-some turnovers in the first half and playing pretty dirty (bulls players are going down all over the court).
  16. I hope we pummel Isiah's face into the court tonight. I'd love to see Tyrus posterize Eddy.
  17. Kinsler. Should be hitting in the front of that order soon. Great hitters park. Get smarter friends too :D
  18. Cubs will try and break their three game losing skid against the Magic Wand with our magician on the mound in Rich Hill. Need to break this losing streak now and start playing some solid baseball again. Would be nice to see Soriano start to earn some 136 million. GO CUBS!
  19. Pink shirt was a dead giveaway.
  20. It took me nearly 15 minutes to take a leak today in the bleachers. BRING BACK THE TROUGHS! The urinals were slowing down my need to stream.
  21. I must have been really drunk because I do not remember any of the parachute guys. We got in there pretty early, and I can actually see a bit of my party in that right field photo. Huzzah!
  22. You're right. Tim should change it, but I couldn't pitch him anywhere else. What choice do I have? I would pitch him @ SP if I could, but sportsline will not allow it. Am I supposed to sit him because he's really an SP instead of an RP? Not my fault.
  23. The worst thing a fantasy owner can do is over analyze a first week's performance. The only player I'm worried about is Alex Gordon, which is merely a result of him possibly being benched or sent down if he can't hit soon, which would be a shame. Kid's gonna be good if they keep with him. Don't be flustered by starting slowly.
  24. Heat lost too. If you look at it from the perspective that the Bulls remaining schedule is a cake walk (as is Cleveland's), then Toronto winning today (coupled with the Heat losing) puts the Bulls controlling their own destiny still for the two seed while Toronto is up two on the Heat for the three seed. With only a few games to play, Bulls matching Cleveland's record gets them the second seed and a high likelihood of facing Toronto in the second round instead of the Heat. Just looking for some silver lining in a bad performance today :D
