    Randolf's set to make $13.34M next year. The Bulls would have to package more than Noc (sign and trade) to make the money work most likely. Boers and Bernstein said they could make Stoudamire work, so they could make Randolph work. They have the $8mil from PJ Brown plus their MLE to work with They could make Stoudemire work because they would be signing and trading Deng to get him -- probably throwing in Tyrus as well. What kind of package are you suggesting for Randolf? The $8M for PJ Brown is gone and you can't use the MLE like that. That is, you can't take $XM and add it to the MLE to sign a player. why is the $8 mil gone? Because he's an UFA.

    How can you take anything that Chad Ford says seriously? He just latches on to a foreign big man every single year. The stuff about Yi's "elbow finishing at the rim every time" is ridiculous. His videos are all over youtube, and while it's clear he's more athletic than you would think at first glance, he's not exactly jumping out of the gym. And don't ever go to nbadraft.net for in depth scouting, I mean, just read the contradiction's on Yi's "profile". Thumbs up, thanks for that hard work fellas. is funny though. "EEEEN JOOOR FACE PAU GASOL". While I am a bit skeptical on how Chad chooses to incorporate quotes into his pieces, the gushing is hardly just from him. I wouldn't be shocked to see scouts and GM's legitimately excited about him to the point where they'd spend a high lottery pick on him. And at least he SEES this guy play instead of a lot of other "draft experts" who offer very little insight and nuggets such as "well, I"ve never seen him play..."

    Yep. Shipping Oden and Durant out west is very nice. I wonder what Portland's asking price for Randolph will now be. I can't imagine it being that much. Given that they have an enormous hole at the three, they'd naturally ask for Deng, and Pax would quickly rebut. A healthy Andres Nocioni would be an absolute perfect fit it Portland. They need a guy like that to go with Aldridge, Roy, and Oden. The key is if Nocioni is healthy. Say what you want about Zach Randolph and his problems off the court, but he is exactly what this Bulls team needs. And if anybody could get him to buy into the "team concept" it would be Pax and Skiles.

    Hes very good but I heard they were looking to trade him. Nocioni and filler for Randolph??? That'd make sense for both teams... Get rid of the malcontent in Portland, get a great glue guy in Noc at the three, Bulls get their low post scorer for a redundant part...

    Read Chad Ford's piece about Yi. Doesn't appear to be a softy like Bargnani, nor a total workout wonder like Skita. Looks to be the real deal.

    Why? He's been fine since he's came back. Just to use him in proper situations is the key to maintaining his effectiveness. Even Neifi hit an awesome slam against the Cards. Did I hate Neifi? yeah. Did I hate him there? No, I was jumping around happy as hell like everybody else.
