  1. I know I've given up tonight.
  2. I'm going tomorrow night and I think I have a nine game losing streak going on right now.
  3. Funk's mother is ill so he's back in Chicago.
  4. god, I miss Neil Funk already.
  5. This oughta be an awesome series. Failure is not an option.
  6. That's awesome.
  7. Dude needs something. He's going to get killed.
  8. Thank god for nsbb shooting off the news about Lincecum starting Sunday! I was hoping to wait a week or two before grabbing him (while still being in the minors), but with that news, I knew I'd have to pounce right away. I'm stoked.
  9. I filled up in DuPage County today @ 3.25 and felt like I got a bargain. What the hell is going on?

BJ Upton has really saved my team. Dude's raking. Without him, I'd probably be starting Adam Kennedy at second base. Please hurry back, Howie :( Please start hitting, Gordo.
  11. Awesome! I really didn't think they'd pull today's game out. But man, watching that Heat team, it is clear that they are old. I really have to give the Bulls a ton of credit for standing up to the big bad champs who were fouling them hard all series to get up every time and make a bigger stand with a big shot, rebound, etc. Bottom line is, this team is much much better than the Heat. This is a well rounded team that stared an undesirable situation for all media members (sans John Hollinger) and just whooped the Champs. It feels great. Miami got the matchup they didn't want. Everybody was so fixated on how nobody wanted to play the Heat. From the beginning of this series, Scott Skiles has maintained his composure in preparing his team for a difficult series after a devastating last night of the regular season. There was no theatrics about playing the nasty Heat. Instead, it was all confidence and a business-like approach that the entire team adopted as its philosophy about this series. There wasn't a fear of not getting out of the first round. This team believes in themselves and they weren't going to be stopped. Bring on Detroit. We are not afraid of anybody.
  12. Note: I'm not giving Berkman away. One for one deal. New Jersey Nine, that was an embarrassing offer.
  13. Some of us have been prepared for this for a few days in fantasy. Please get third base eligibility!
  14. On the block for a left fielder or centerfielder. Tex could be had for the right price too. Same positions being looked for.
  15. I'm going to be there. Thunderstix night! Anything to make the UC louder is alright by me. I would love to see a steady dose of Kirk Hinrich tonight. Keeping him out of foul trouble is big for this team because I can see the Heat making some solid adjustments for Thabo when he's on Wade.
  16. And Braden Looper is still only a reliever...
  17. Why aren't they walking Sori to get to Marquis?
