This has suddenly become a very fun summer. I love how the Cubs are doing everything possible to bring me out to Wrigley again this summer. Their solid play means i will gladly spend the dough.

It was not. I think the Marrero game was actually a game that eventually got rained out before becoming an official game. That Haren game was awesome. Tony got an enormous ovation come out of the dugout. One of my all time favorite games to witness in person. ETA: the Marrero game was in May of 03.

Just curious, is a reason for Kendall's high FB rate due to the vast amount of space in foul territory in Oakland? I'd have to imagine there's gotta be a couple handful of balls that were caught there this year that wouldn't be caught in other parks.

If we can get Posada for mid-level prospects, we'd be foolish to overlook it. One of baseball's best offensive catchers for the stretch run and possibly high draft picks if he leaves? Very much works for me. Its really a no lose situation.

Now this means that the minutes for C/PF are going to be split up amongst Wallace, Smith, Noah, Noc, and Tyrus. C: Wallace 30/Noah 12/ Smith 6 PF: Tyrus 26/ Smith 14/ Noc 8 SF: Deng 32/ Noc 16 That's a pretty strong front court if you ask me.

Problem is that the Cavs are in a huge cap crunch on two of their two RFA's (Pavlovic and Varajeo) that will put them over the luxury tax threshold if they get a significant enough offer from another team. Don't know if they view either of those players in the 12-15 mil a year range (dollar for dollar match on the tax)
