  1. Keep attacking!!! 4 fouls already on Tennessee. This is much better.
  2. that is a really bad looking play for OSU :(
  3. I love OSU's aggressiveness to the hoop to begin this second half. Pick up 10 points in the next 8 minutes.
  4. It seems like every time I get to see Tyrus Thomas play, I become more convinced that he is "getting it" and will be a true star in this league. He has really started to limit those rookie mistakes lately, and I love Skiles playing him down the stretch tonight. Really made a difference.
  5. I wouldn't but it if was 3 dollars. Them raising beer prices doesn't do anything to me. I'm not a beer drinker. If I want to drink, I'll gulp it and make sure I get a lot more for my money. A spare flask is always welcome.
  6. Gus in a landslide. Imagine him doing Cub games. LEEEEEE WITH THE... BOOM SHOCKA LOCKA!! CUBS WIN! THE CUBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS WIN!!!!
  7. Have we decided on an actual date for the draft?
  8. A: Ryan Howard B: Alfonso Soriano and Adam Dunn C: Garrett Atkins, Derrek Lee, and Carlos Lee D: Ryan Zimmerman, Miguel Tejada, Mark Teahen, Michael Cuddyer, and Nick Markakis Secret Bonus Pick: Ryan Shealy -> Ryan Braun
  9. That pitching looks like a whole lotta "meh" to me.
  10. I've been extremely impressed with A&M. They've handled the press well, and have been efficient on offense. SOSA! Ville up 3. This game has been awesome and is magnified by Gus Johnson's excellence. Gus Johnson quoting Clark Kellogg may have been the highlight of my day.
  11. Not to mention very little ball pressure after that is how they forced a turnover on the previous possession. Terrible.
  12. Awesome. Chills on every single one of those videos. "And when you're Sleepless in Seattle, why not get a little kiss!?" GUS! Oh Major onions! Oh what a smooch!"
  13. :( Go Buckeyes in the rest of the tourney, but its sad to see Xavier go down. Does Ron Lewis remind anyone of Luther Head? And those who said Bilas and Enberg. Good call.
  14. Gus Johnson is so awesome. Screw Nantz and Packer. Give me a healthy dose of Johnson and Elmore and Verne and Raftery and I'm very happy. Ron Lewis is CLUTCH! I'm having mixed feelings here. I love Oden and the Big Ten, but I LOVE upsets in the tourney... Xavier should have their way down low now though...
  15. In a bracket with Kansas, UCLA, GTown, or Florida as the 1-2 seeds, I'd have Virginia in the Final Four.
  16. Most teams have big men at the end of the bench who don't play much. For us, its Sweets and Allen. Brown, Thomas, and Wallace are getting the most PT. I don't see why Thomas, Wallace, other rookie (please god, let us get Horford), and Deng/Nocioni (when the Bulls decide to go small) couldn't keep PJ on the bench for a majority of the game. If he gives you 10 minutes a game over the course of the season for near league minimum and he offers great tutelage for the two youngsters, he'd be very valuable. This is contingent on the Bulls drafting a ready to play young big man, though. And I do believe that is the route they will go (McRoberts, Hansbrough, Horford if he slips), etc.
  17. I'm not one of PJ Brown's biggest fans on the court, but this article has made me very happy for his presence all season. Apparently, he has had a huge impact on Tyrus: If Brown would come back for the league minimum, I'd have very little problem with it. Seeing as how the Bulls will likely be drafting a power forward or center with their pick, another year of tutelage for Tyrus and the new draftee could have a big impact in their development. Brown would be a better fifth or sixth big man option off the bench than guys like Malik Allen and the likely to be departing Michael Sweetney.
  18. I was kind of hoping they wouldn't have to spend a draft pick on a DTackle. They've spent a bunch on them already and need so much more. It's 4 months on paper.....likely reduced to 2 months. Tank didn't even practice until August last year with his injury. This year he'll be ready to go mid-April with early release. Bears don't need to draft DT. Dvoracek is like an extra 2nd round pick this year. We don't? We only have, i think, 3 on the roster counting Tank Johnson. Is Anthony Garay still on the roster? Remember, Ian Scott and Alfonso Boone are both gone. Can't Idonije play either DL spot?
  19. I love all those plays except the Purdue +2.5. You should win some coin.
  20. That's gonna be my third draft of that day. I mean, is there a better way to spend a Sunday than doing three fantasy baseball drafts and watching March Madness!? I'm amped.
  21. I love how Larrivee says that Griffin is making a "veteran move" taking the ball to the rim when NOBODY IS GUARDING HIM BECAUSE HE SUCKS SO MUCH. Also, if I have to hear he's a "calming influence" on the court one more time, I will want to break my monitor. Stop saying that.
  22. Winning Ugly! I'll take it.
  23. Ohio State over UCLA in the title game after Mbah a Moute shuts down Durant in the final four and pushes himself back into the lottery.
  24. I feel it too.
  25. If you're getting the best player in the game, its a good deal. Do it.
