    He came back for a game right before the All Star break and re-aggravated the injury. I hope he's back in time for the playoffs. This team will do damage with a healthy Nocioni. I've heard he needs orthodics to alleviate the problems while being on his feet all the time.

    5x5 is essentially 5 hitting stats and 5 pitching stats usually classified as HR, R, RBI, SB, AVG for hitters and Wins, Saves, K's, WHIP, and ERA for pitchers. 4x4 probably knocks out runs and WHIP. More often used for roto.

    I'd try and deal a starter for some relief help. See if anybody way overvalues Barry Zito in your league. Think a guy like Chris Ray coming back. You need two closers though... You won't win any roto leagues punting this early in the season...

    Wolfie, any chance you can still make this a roto league? Roto is the best format bar none.

    Looks like a lot of the people who either haven't paid or announced their keepers had their rosters wiped out. Seriously, lets get this show on the road. Either these owners come back and make their keepers or we need to get new players. If we wait too long, we'll have a heckuva time filling the league.

    Really a good time to see if Miggy (Tejada) can be had. Offer up Izzy, Eyre, Jones, and a top pitching prospect and lets do this thing.

    If its a 5x5 roto league, Jason Kendall is pretty useless.

    I actually think the pitching is really weak. Dontrelle is not a great fantasy starter. Who knows what Prior will give you. Daisuke could be great, but its unlikely he'll be in fantasy elite level. Marquis will most likely be below average. I believe Clemens will play, and he'll give you a nice boost if he does, but he's your best pitcher, and there's no guarantee he's going to play this season.

    Depends on the format. If you play 5x5, no. If you play deeper than 5x5, its not absurd.
