  1. I'm betting my waiver request doesn't go through
  2. Tyrus has finally learned how to play. Other teams in the East: beware. This team is DEEP and will be incredibly tough to beat. I don't fear any team right now in the East. The Bulls have shown me that they can consistently be the best team in the conference. This team has shown me they can make a legitimate finals run. Tyrus: 13 points and 8 in TEN MINUTES (important that it wasn't in garbage time too).
  3. Its awesome to be in a roto CG league where you have Sheets. My pitching for yesterday: Harang KRod Sheets Torres for a .5 ERA, 1 CG, 2 saves, a .56 WHIP, and 10 K's. Need a few more K's for 18 innings, but I'll deal :D Other pitchers include Matt Cain, Dave Bush, Anthony Reyes, and Billy Wagner. Tough league. Strong 14 owners. If only I had played Luke Scott yesterday ;)
  4. Seriously. I want Arod now

    WTF!?!?

So I set my pre-ranks and it didn't follow it at at all!? What a garbage pre-draft system. I'm super pissed right now. Sportsline is terrible.
  6. Hosak, apologies. I left for school really early this morning and just now got home. I didn't draft and have no idea what my team looks like...
  7. Knicks lose again in Dallas :D Big big big big game tomorrow.
  8. I've never known McDonalds to legitimately grill anything.
  9. When I run for president in 14 years, Vance is going to be my campaign manager. Has Obama gotten a hold of you yet, Vance!? With you on his side, he'd almost be guaranteed to win!
  10. Fifth. According to dougthonus on realgm's Bulls board, the Bulls locked up a ton of tiebreakers against the East last night with their win over the Pistons.
  11. i would like the thank the flu germs that decided to shack up in Chris Webber and Rip Hamilton's intestines yesterday Either you're the most pessimistic Bulls fan in this thread or the most obnoxious. We beat the best team in the conference last night. Beat them a couple months back at the UC. Almost beat them full strength up in the Palace. I see no reason why the Bulls couldn't have a very competitive series against the Pistons in the playoffs. If we have Nocioni for 25 minutes a game, we will be tough to beat.
  12. Looks like auto draft for me. Gotta do a massive pre-rank. Sigh. But I understand
  13. Awesome... Thanks for the info, mooch.
  14. It's all a matter of everybody wanting to get paid what they feel they are worth. Seth's right, nothing wrong with that.
  15. Why would we want draft picks if we don't know when the draft is going to be?? We might not be able to make it either.
  16. I predict zero sacrifice flies.
  17. That is possibly the stupidest rule I've ever heard of.
  18. KILL LEBRON! A win Saturday is a MUST win for this team. Cleveland's got the weak sisters of the league coming up down the stretch. Need to take that lead or tie while we can.
  19. If that angers Browns fans, then they deserve the results their teams have had. It is the right pick, but most fans will want the sexy pick which means trying to get CJ, Peterson, or Quinn. Exactly the angle I was taking. Jets fans booed Fergy last year, IIRC.
  20. In an effort to anger Cleveland Browns fans everywhere, with the third pick in the 2007 NFL Draft, the Cleveland Browns select OT Joe Thomas from Wisconsin.
  21. It doesn't at all. Briggs totally went about this the wrong way, so we should return in kind. Who cares? I want to what is best for the Bears and having a vendetta with Briggs doesn't seem like that would be the best way. The point was, the Skins did this and wound up rewarded with 2 1st rounders. If we wait, it *could* result in a better deal than swapping 1st round picks, which is what some have suggested isn't good enough. True-in fairness though, that is the only time in the history of the league that it is ever happened, and it set back the franchise that did it a couple years (in fact its labeled as the worst move in the short Panthers history)-I doubt anyone is going to be trying that anytime soon, although if anybody would be silly enough to try something like that, Washington would. I was hearing though when it Peyton was franchised for a couple weeks 3-4 years back that it was unlikely that anybody would even sign him and give up 2 first rounders. I do think that if people want the extra pick rather than the top pick, that the Bears probably could get a pick in the 20's or maybe a little later for Briggs. That's not worth quite as much as moving up to 6, but it does pick up an extra pick that may fill a need. Hopefully Angelo can exchange the 1st picks and steal their 2nd rounder. Probably a lot to ask for but hey if they get that you can't complain. Briggs, a 1st round pick swap and the Redskins' 2nd? Sign me up. The Redskins might be allergic to the draft. They have the sixth pick (that they might be dealing) and don't pick again til pick 143! That sounds like a winning formula.
  22. If the Knicks keep tanking, they could realistically fall into the sixth worst record which would net the Bulls at worst 9th (highly unlikely) and a 5.3% chance at winning a lottery spot. Keep tanking Zeke!!!! ETA I hit a Bulls winner and we would take Greg Oden. GO ANY TEAM PLAYING THE KNICKS!
  23. Still rooting for a second place finish for you, Willy. you need some pitchin, though.
  24. I'll take the Browns and ruin their franchise like their current GM does.
  25. 2 out of 5 (though, admittedly they were "mock" drafts on espn I'll pay little attention to over the course of the year)
