    If you're a premium user, you can just get rid of avatars totally and its great for loading pages. No sigs and avatars is the way to go! This is true. I turned off sigs and avatars a few weeks ago...it makes it much easier to read the pages.

    Actually, if you remember, Joe played in the Mexican leagues before ending up in the majors, and according to Dusty, 'people of color play better in the heat.' A few seasons playing in Mexico, plus his heavily tanned arms make him a 'person of color' in Dusty's book, and therefore, a good closer. However, I'm currently trying to get a $50,000 grant from NU to find out why he was only good for one season... :D P.S. Is sarcasm officially posted in green? Why do people keep saying Borowski was only good for one season? Do people not remember '02?

    Okay...back to what I said earlier...I hope the Cubs win. It would be nice to have a W on the day Sandberg is inducted. Go Cubs! :D

    Thanks, DJAXX. I look forward to reading his answers to the questions. However, I more look forward to him suiting up with the big league club and playing. (getting very excited about that....!)

    My favorite memory was getting to meet him and take a picture with him. Nothing he did on the field will ever eclispe the moment I spent with him off the field. Great ballplayer. Better person.

    I had arthroscopic surgery and I thought it was pretty painless. I only took pain meds for 2 days. Not that I'd want to have surgery again, but I didn't think it was painful. The worst part was waking up from the anesthesia and having dry mouth. Disclaimer: My surgery was not on my shoulder...that could be totally different than my knee surgery pain-wise.

    The group effort would probably work. The night they gave the shout out on WGN there were several e-mailing them asking them to give the shout. If a bunch of people e-mailed them about a Q & A then maybe it would work. I sent them the same e-mail I've sent everyone else in regards to the site. The e-mail had the number of posters, posts, all of the current and future guests to the site, as well as some of our posters that they should be familiar with. I think a group effort would be good as well. When I think of it and have time, I'll send one. I've been very busy the last few weeks or so and haven't had much spare time or computer time, but it seems things might start to slow down a bit.

    I'm not 100% sure but I'm wanting to say that desipio talked him into doing at least an interview with them. If we all keep e-mailing I'm confident that good things will come from it. We could always request on their WGN blog. I know he did a Q&A with them. I read it...it was right around the time that he mentioned NSBB on the air. Keep trying to get him to do a Q&A DJAXX!
