  1. For the first time in five years, we owe the government money. I'm not pleased. you've got kids and a house. if you owe money, you're not doing something right Seriously...how can you owe in that situation. And, I assume you and your wife have the same positions as before so what changed? My wife's hospital sold to another group. The hospital was formerly community owned and they allowed vacation to accrue from year to year if one did not take it. When it sold, the employees were allowed to take a payout of unused vacation hours because the new company would not allow vacation hours to carry over if they were unused from year to year. As a result, we got a very large check before the take-over became final. I don't think we had enough money taken out of that. Oh...I see. That would makes sense then. I tell people who owe that you have to pay the taxes at some point...whether it's through your paychecks or at tax time. You're still paying the same...it just sometimes sucks if you're not expecting to pay in a large amount. You should have had another baby last year! That would have off-set the extra tax dollars I bet! :D

  4. Is there a score yet? Following the game intermittently. Thanks.
  5. I hate games on CSN+. Guess I'll be following this game here while at work. Go Cubs!
  6. That was one long game...luckily it ended on the winning side for the Cubs. They could use the off day tomorrow and then go get 'em again on Wednesday.
  7. Looking forward to watching the 3rd win a row tomorrow. :D

  13. yes, actually Especially considering tampax don't have wings...ouch just thinking about that.
  14. No idea what's going on but I still have issues with staying logged in to this site even though I have it clicked to log me in every time. It's super annoying and frustrating to have to log in every time. And, more often than not, when I submit a post, it logs me out...so then I hit the back button, copy what I wrote, re-log in, find the thread and then paste what I previously tried to post. Often times, it's just not worth the trouble.
  15. I chose apple only because I can stomach it and of the options, it's the one I hate the least. I don't much care for fruit pies...I like french silk, ambrosia and banana cream the best. I also was expecting a little Felix to be added as well.
  16. I've only been out there for one ST and tickets were so easy to get. I wouldn't worry about it. There is lots of room to sit. And tickets are cheap. If I recall, like $6ish. tickets are not $6, and there is not lots of room to sit (unless you want to sit on the grass in the OF, and even then, i wouldn't say there's lots of room). if you want good seats to cubs home games, you should try and get them asap...i usually go after them the day they go on sale. Well, when I went, I felt there was lots of room to sit, and I did mean the outfield grass as well as seats. And, my tickets were fairly cheap...I thought around $6. Sorry if this information wasn't absolutely correct. I'm not an information guide. Just going on my past experience.

  18. C'mon man, there are 168 hours in a week. 80 hours at your job, plus 56 hours sleeping leaves you an entire 32 extra hours a week to fix all of the boards problems. Thats almost 4.5 hours a day! Did I mention that I also have two kids who like to see me once in a while? 8-) They can have the .5...NSBB gets the 4!
  19. Yeah...it told me I wasn't logged in either...yet I am.
  20. Holy Hell, monolith is awful. Actually, Monolith isnt that bad, that BF Visa is absolutely mind boggling-ly bad, though. What don't you like about BF Vista? I looked at it and don't think it's that bad. Going to check out monolith now. ETA: Yeah, don't like Monolith AT all. Back to BF Vista for now.
  21. Then you got see 2 WS championships for the Cubs.
  22. I thought anytime after the WS ended. I don't recall for fact, though.
