For some reason I'm thinking there was a player vote to allow that situation. There is definitely a clause about needing X amount of off days. And, I didn't think there was really a choice given it was the end of the season...the game had to be played at some point.

I have never been to Fenway or PNC (but want to desparately) but I don't think the Cell is anything great. I don't think Miller Park is the best ballpark but it's definately up there in my opinion. I like it much better than Oakland's park and Tampa's park.

Whoa! that avatar is off the hook! it's mezmorizing(sp)! yeah that avatar is pimpin'.....didnt see the game today, but i heard about it. at least the brewers won so im not too disappointed. Not too worried about the dodgers winning tho, as long as the padres lose no harm done psst...they lost.

I've never heard anyone say anything bad about Miller park until now. Same here. It's been good reports. And I've enjoyed my time there as well. It's easier to get to than Wrigley from where I live so we often go there instead for games.

I gotta hand it to him, that's a nicely sarcastic comment. I'd like to know who "they" are, and when "they" said it, and "where". He creates lies just to BE an egotistic moron. Who's stupid enough to throw one back anyway? It can net you a brand new car, maybe 2 brand new cars, plus tax, plus insurance for 2 years. You're just looking for reasons to hate Barry. In case you weren't aware, Cubs fans in the bleachers yell at the opposing players all game talking to them, etc. I'm willing to bet my car that he was pestered like any other player :shock: Well, even if the fans in the left field bleachers were heckling him and said they'd throw it back, he has to be pretty stupid if he didn't realize his homeruns were hit to right field and center field...not where those fans would have been. He probably was just making it up. I just thought it was an interesting, sort of funny comment. I'm still not recognizing Bonds' faux home run title. Not ever. I don't believe it either...just sayin for the post above mine.

If it is a serious injury to keep him out for the year then it has to be a tear. Since I didnt see the game did he pull up before the play? Didn't look like it at all. But I didn't pay super close attention. -

This happened to me...he'll get to it and I'll assume, like he did for me, he'll start your new premium from the time he updates it. It sucks, though, while you are waiting for it. Yeah, it sucks slumming on the regular board. That's what you get for waiting until the last minute to renew. :wink: I renewed close to 2 months early and it just wasn't inputed correctly. No big deal.

I voted no. Like others have said...I'd prefer for him to have the rest, not jack with the rotation and stay on schedule. He's going good now so don't mess with him. And, I don't particularly feel he deserves a spot given his overall performance.
