    This can be argued many different ways. The run scored because there was a hit. The run scored because of the horrible throw. The game continued because of no offense. The Cubs lost the game and there are several different scenarios that led to the loss. This one is not all on Barrett. From where Jones was playing, he easily should have been able to give Barrett a throw that is easily caught.

    yeah your little slip got us mentioned twice :D They also showed some of you guys on the broadcast What was said? Len basically said that before it was officially announced, his dad let it slip on the internet. Then he mentioned this site as the one his dad went to.

    He was on second with a runner on first and Fontenot hit a grounder. They tried to turn the dp but Fontenot beat it out and Barrett rounded 3rd too far and was eventually tagged out on the rundown.

    Not only ignorant, but also stupid. We dont face the Braves again, while they do play our competition. point taken about the competition, but he had it coming, or Bobby Cox does. It doeasn't mean he deserves a broken foot.

    The Cubs shouldn't be giving anyone bases they haven't earned anyway. No, but if they throw very close inside, the umps could call them for tyring to hit a player and still be tossed. It's takes away from pitching inside. And, then the pitchers won't go too close inside for fear of accidentally hitting a player and getting tossed.

    Not true; it was in existence before the new basic agreement. It hasn't been around that long, though, so maybe it was in the previous agreement. And it isn't just due to death; it can be due to illness as well, which is the case with Floyd. Len also just said a player may only be on the list for 7 games.
