    Maybe Hendry fully plans on trading Hill in the next week and doesn't want to diminish his trade value even further by allowing him to suck, like he normally does, in the Cubs rotation. I don't know, that's the only logical thing I can come up with here.

The only quote that looks particularly egregious is the first one, and if you consider the question was likely "Aramis, you hit very well this afternoon, what are your thoughts on the loss today?" even that is a fine response. he's getting run out of town whether you like it or not You really think so?

    He is a reverse stereotype, people always say Sox fans obsess over the Cubs (many do), but he is doing the exact same thing with the Sox and to a much lesser extent the Cardinals. So what? Is it necessary to give him crap about it in every thread? If they want him to stop, then yes. He doesn't seem to have a problem being called out like this, let him defend himself. If they want him to stop? Stop voicing his opinion? That's ridiculous. I think his hatred of the Sox is excessive, but he's certainly entitled to his opinion and doesn't deserve to be belittled for it every time he expresses it. Hey man, if the crap CBB gets gets your panties in a knot, then don't open the thread. I shouldn't have to not open threads in order to avoid seeing a poster getting criticized for voicing his opinion. Frankly, I'm pretty shocked that a moderator hasn't ever said anything about all the crap that CBB gets on here.

    word I used to go every year but haven't been able to make it for several years. Next Saturday will be the first time since, I believe 2003. Next Saturday as in the 29th? I'll be at that game as well. Are you bleacher bound?

    Hendry has an opportunity to sort of redeem himself in the next week and a half. For all the crappy things he has done in recent memory, he can make me forget about a lot of them if he makes some really good trades.

    Well, I doubt the runner on second would score on a bobble, but I see what you're saying there. One run would score which is better than a walk scoring no one.

    I can't think of any instance where a routine grounder to the SS would be better than a walk.

    You show them! I'm sure the Cubs will stop sucking and start getting good players cause you don't start Game Threads! As for me, I still go cause I love baseball. And I love the Cubs. There's nothing like going to a game at Wrigley. Plus, like others have said, I bought tickets when they went on sale and I'm not going to just get rid of them cause the Cubs suck.
