    Bobby Bonilla -- .279/.358/.472 Wally Joyner -- .289/.362/.440 There are two guys that were very good players when I was growing up that no one ever really talks about. Very underrated, in my opinion.

    And those Yankee fans were correctly labeled idiots by most of the rational world. Do you think Cubs fans are idiots for boo'ing Z? Z has done nothing close in the Majors to compare at all to what Arods done. Not idiots, but definitely selfish like Z said. I think people have a right to be selfish when they are spending their money to see a game. I suppose it's also selfish of me to hope a movie is good when I spend $8 to go to the theater. And it's selfish to expect good food when I go to a restaurant. Consider us all selfish! Do you boo your waiter if he drops a plate of your food? Z obviously realizes he didn't pitch well, which means booing just boils down to the fans trying to make themselves feel better. No, but I also don't stand up and start clapping when I'm satisfied with the waiter's performance. I think that's a pretty poor analogy. But to go with it... I will tip less when the waiter's performance is bad. So, in a roundabout way, I guess that could be considered the equivalent of booing him.

    I love Big Z, but after that idiotic baserunning blunder and then completely sucking on the mound after that, he deserved to be booed. I'm looking forward to reading what he actually said, but it doesn't sound good at this point. But with all that said, one dominant start and the fans will forget about whatever comments he made.

    jeez. I like what he does at the plate, for the most part, and his defense in LF is serviceable. But he's a butcher in RF. He looks like a chicken with its head cut off out there. lf and rf are the same. Maybe on your computer they are, but not in real life. by the way...as you know, i don't watch the games. my computer told me that your ace didn't pitch very well today, but i wanted to get an eyewitness account...how'd he look? Awful. Pretty nifty how I can admit when my favorite pitcher has a bad outing, isn't it? hill had a bad outing yesterday. how's that? he's still better than z. Amazing! No he's not. But I'm not surprised that a person who actually thinks that playing RF and LF is the same would think that way.

    For the record, since my comment about Murton's craptacular play on that ball was what started all this... I'm a big Murton fan, and think he should be playing almost everyday. I also can recognize when my favorites do something stupid.

Wait... no it's not. good to know that you're the guy who decides what type of game thread temper tantrum is ok and which is not. And you're singling me out because why? I'm one of at least four people that commented on that post? You say something to me, and only me? Weird. Just because I criticize your boyfriend more than others do is no reason to hate me and (very creepily) keep a spreadsheet of every post I've ever made. Freakin weirdo.

    YEAH, DAMN YOU, MATT MURTON! Oh here we go again. Just because his bad play wasn't the worst thing of the day doesn't mean you can't comment on it when it happens. Did you see the route he took? It was atrocious. Then he air-mailed the throw when we had a runner on the ground between 2nd and 3rd. Can he ever just be called out for a bad play without people thinking that he's being blamed for everything or that people are saying he sucks? He's either treated like a bum or baby Jesus. Why can't there just be some honest middle ground? Bingo. Good post.
