    First time fantasy football player. 8 teams, 15 rounds. Here's what I came away with. Please let me know your thoughts.     I don't really get statements like that, but whatever. For me, he's a player that hard to NOT root for. From all accounts, he's a great guy off the field, arrives to the ballpark earlier than most, and you see a smile on his face during games more than any other Cub. I don't get how he's not easy to root for. He pisses me off a lot when he swings at junk two feet off the plate, but I like Jacque.

    Who is "you guys?" I'm one of them. I don't feel bad, because Rich doesn't know what I said. But I'll readily admit that I was irrational in what I was saying. But that's what happens during games -- fans get irrational.

    I tried saying I didn't want to get into this once before, but of course the Rich Hill fan club piled on. I'm not going to waste anymore of my time arguing with people who seriously think that Rich Hill is the Cubs best pitcher. Get your heads out of stat books and actually watch some damn games. Stats don't tell you everything.

The stats are against you and I'm interested in hearing why you think someone else has pitched better than Hill so far. I didn't say that Hill doesn't have the best ERA+ in the first five months of the season, I said he's not the Cubs best starter. There's quite a difference there. i'd love to hear the difference. What does it matter? Rich Hill is God's gift to baseball as far as you're concerned. Nothing I say is ever going to make you even consider for one second that he might not be the best pitcher in baseball history. I bet if Marquis had the same performance as Hill tonight your tone would be different... Doubt it. I only defended Marquis so hard because you were completely irrational when slamming him. I don't have any weird love for Marquis or anything, I'm indifferent towards him.

It my come as surprise to you, but not everyone just sits there and lifelessly watches a game like you apparently do. I get happy as a kid on Christmas and incredibly pissed too while watching a game. Wait, are you a fan? LOL, hard to believe that some Cubs fans get pissed when the Cubs don't do well isn't it? Yeah. Sometimes I even yell for joy when thye win. Oh and I cried in '03. I guess I should wear a diaper. But, I doubt anyone on here would tell me that to my face. So you're telling me that when you go to games, you actually clap when they do well? You don't just sit there the entire time and calculate the percentage likelihood of the next pitch being a slider?

Oh I wasn't referring to the comment about Hill. He's not the Cubs best pitcher. I was just referring to the passionate comments I made.

    wow come on man. Its not like it matters when your offense cant score He's now given up 3 runs in less than 5 innings and we're already blaming the offense? 3 runs in 5 innings is garbage. Yea and our pathetic ass offense cant score 1 in 5 innings So you are blaming the offense that we're losing? One Pitch is the reason we're down right now. And if the moron knew how to bunt, we'd at least have one run right now. lol see even if he had given up 1 run in 5 innings which is pretty good, we'd still be losing. But its alot easier calling him moron, idiot,and such when all you are doing is making yourself look like one. Shut the hell up. Drop it and consider this your only warning. Warn the guy that doesn't think Rich Hill is God for telling someone to shut up, but don't say a word about the "Rich Hill is God" fan club member who calls me an idiot and a moron. Can't say I'm surprised.
