Is there a rule against placing a player on the DL who isn't hurt? Don't know how anyone could prove they are not hurt, but just wondering. I do believe there is a rule against putting a player on the DL who isn't hurt, and there's no way to disprove a back injury. You Teamsters sure know that rule! The teamsters contract, to this very day, contains a clause that requires a driver to be at work 15 minutes prior to his listed starting time. This was put into effect to allow for feeding the horses. Real boy scouts them teamsters, no? I'm a retired teamster myself and I know of which you speak.
