It's because the major conferences all send their conference champion to a BCS game. Wake Forest was ranked 14 in the final BCS standings. Look at last year. #3 Penn State played #22 Florida State in the Orange Bowl last year. My point is that 1 should play 2 and then the next 2 highest play each other and so on.

The #11 team really shouldn't have been there. They need to change the rule that prohibits a conference from only getting in two teams and we could have had a better match-up. If they do that then the rich just get richer. You'd see just SEC, Big 10 and Big 12 teams fill all the slots.

I still don't understand why a #4 team was even playing a #11 team in a BCS game. It's bad enough that there is no playoff but let's at least group the teams together better than this.

I thought it was pretty disturbing to hear Terry asking about what the A, B, and C gap are... Well he never claimed to be smart. But overall I think there doing a good job for not being college guys. I think the Jack Daniels might have something to do with that.

Bradshaw AND Long. It's going to be an all-out laughfest in the booth tonight. Whoever thought it would be a good idea to have NFL guys announce college games should be shot immediately. Why? They don't even call NFL games. They work in the studio. They have plenty of football knowledge. That makes it even worse. You have guys who get paid to talk about the NFL all the time, but don't even announce at all, actually announcing a college game. It's a horrible idea. Who's the play by play guy?
