Probably. Blame the system. When you make point differential & strength of schedule count for so much in the rankings, it's really no wonder that fans start taking it into account when talking smack. Until there's a valid playoff system (probably never), such is NCAA Div 1-A football. I really hope that after the regular season/Champ games are over there are 4 undefeated teams. and that after the bowl games there are still 3 Brings up a humorous point. I think alot of college football fans now root for the most troublesome outcome just to see the BCS squirm. It's fun, actually 8-) Now, if the last undefeated teams are USC, LSU, Rutgers, Hawaii and Purdue we know what 2 teams will go to the BCS Championship game. Rutgers wouldn't because well, darn it they're Rutgers and from the Big East. Purdue wouldn't because the Big 10 was down this year. Hawaii has a strength of schedule that would rival any D2 team. Florida, Oklahoma, and BC would fill the last BCS spots. What are the BCS matchups this year?
