That's fine and about time. I still feel every BCS conference team should play at least 2 home and homes against other BCS teams and against 2 different BCS conferences. I'd like to see a couple of Big 12 and 10 teams on that list but it is nice to see a couple of Pac 10's.

what is this "good ole boys" voting system of which you speak? Am I mistaken in thinking Big East coaches have a voice in all of this? 8 teams in the BE compared with 12 most of the others. The guys that say they voted one way until proven wrong such as the Texas coach and vote for their conferences. I want these things public.

I agree they haven't played a good schedule and have something to prove but they have won all their games in a good BCS conference and that does say something. Is it possible they could lose to Mizzou and OU? Absolutely. They could lose to Iowa St as well. I'm going by what they have done so far this season and not guessing if they could beat this team or that.

I'll make a wager that Auburn will beat a Pac-10, Big East, Big Ten, Big Twelve, ACC school in their bowl game. Who wants it?..free month of premium.. One of the last place teams in the Big East already beat them in Auburn so it has to one of the other conferences turn. lol..true, true. I assure you I'd love to see an Auburn - Big East matchup in the bowl game. Did you watch the Auburn - S. Florida game, Cuse? Edit - want to add that I do believe the Big East is still underrated by most across the country. However, Auburn has now lost 4 games, and they should be matched up with middle of the conference team from another major conference. I think they'll do quite well with that type of matchup..even a rematch with S. Florida. Honestly what it shows that there isn't that much of a difference between conferences and just crowning the SEC the king and letting it's teams move up with more losses than other conferences is wrong. That's my whole point and that's what bugs me along with the BE getting the shaft on the other end of the spectrum. SFlor getting no votes while Auburn getting a bunch just goes to show you an example of why I feel this way. If you look at every good BE team other than WV, the team from the BE that has as good a record or even better at times, has less votes than any other BCS conference. Cincy, UConn and SFlorida all are affected by the good ole boys voting system. What I also don't understand is why Kansas isn't number one but Ohio State who played a worse schedule when they were voted 1 was. Again as Dew pointed out before, it's the name first and then the schedule according to voters. This is why Florida gets so much respect. Is Florida a good team, absolutely. Could they be undefeated if they had the same schedule as Kansas, quite possible but other teams could say that too. Kansas has 2 to 3 three tough games to go before they could be 13-0 and I just don't see why the press and coaches won't give them the same benefit they gave a no loss OSU or the one loss teams.

Seriously, what makes the Florida schedule so tough, the computer that has the SEC teams that play AA schools as good? Florida hasn't played a team outside of the SEC yet so why are they so deserving? S Florida has just as tough of a schedule and the same record but yet for some strange reason has no votes in coaches poll. Funny how that happens.

According to this article Infante has a weak arm, so I don't know if he can even play SS. Looks like we've got another crappy 2b on our hands. So that really doesn't help in CF either.

Tejada AND Brian Roberts? Send them Cedeno, Marshall, Infante, and Gallagher? What was Roberts like in the minors? He kind of scares me because of the thread of Roids as does Tejada.

They seem to think Infante would be decent if used correctly. I've heard it before with other players. And I love that they called bad stats Neifi-esque as well. Like hey kid, you know how to keep score? Good, here's the book.

I wish I could be as optimistic, Hoops, but I think Hendry is really just getting the awfully unhappy Jones anywhere but here, even if it means making another really bad deal to make it happen. I'll bet you a quarter that Hendry will make a big trade to acquire or sign an impact hitter.
