    Franklin gave up another oppo field moonshot that bounced on the warning track and over the fence for a double. Rangers have a bunch of hard hit balls. Cubs have one hit.

    AZ broadcast sating Merrill Kelly’s issues have been mechanics related to a prior back issue. They said, prior to loading and then unloading the bases, that he seems to have his mechanics back based on pitch location.

    Looking to make the drive up to Mesa to watch the ACL Cubs over the next few months. I know the games (at Sloan Complex) are free, as is parking. Apparently most of the games are on the back fields, although apparently some are played in Sloan Park. Was wondering if anyone has gone to games in the past and has any tips/info.
